Man i feel like a total douche for talking about myself again... but hey, i guess i've gotta get used to it!  please don't DE-FRIEND me!!! ha

Sorry if you've heard this update before, but my Flock blogger thing got all jacked up, and i have no idea if the word ever got out...

So here is the new news... or old news... or self-promoting banther...


My band Standing Shadows got 2 songs on the new Guitar Hero 5, released early September!!!

No, you cannot actually 'Play' our song on the game...  at least not yet.  We are trying to get that done... 

Our songs are used during 2 of the interviews that they have in the game.  Our song 'Circus Freak' is playing behind the interview of Matt Bellamy (yes, THAT Matt Bellamy... the lead singer of Muse! -- one of my favorite bands of all time!!!).  Our song 'If I Could Change the World' is playing behind Shirley Manson (from the rock band Garbage).

my band Standing Shadows has song airing on A&E's ''The Cleaner'' 8/25/09!!!

"The Cleaner" on A&E will be using the Standing Shadows song 'Desert Rain' on their episode airing this coming Tuesday, August 25th, at 10/9pm central, and 11/10pm west coast!

Not sure how the song is going to be used in the episode, but i will definitely be watching to find out!

For any of you that don't know, Standing Shadows is the band that Dan Silver and i formed about a year ago.  We are the creators/producers/engineers/writers for this band.  I am the Singer, and play some piano and organ.  Dan is the main arranger who played all guitar, bass, and some keyboard parts.  Dan also created all drum parts.

And I just updated the bands myspace page, so that all the fans can hear the song.
Since we are still in final mixing for the upcoming record 'Five Years of Darkness', the television show used the demo version of this song ---  which still sounds great --

The song they chose has a driving beat, cool techno sounding synth, huge drum fills on the chorus, and some great screaming vocals by yours truly...
